Nestled in the hills above Cannes this private domain has remained untouched for many years, and the scope of the design was to retain and enhance the charming rusticity of this property. The proposal included redesigning the swimming pool creating an alpine wildflower meadow and restoring the irrigation rill. Cypresses were added to soften the building and to enhance the lower terraces. The key to the success of this design is sourcing suitably patinated materials, give a sense of authenticity.
